Hailing from Charlottesville, Virginia is the 3-piece indie, attic band Stray Fossa, with a sound that they describe as "a warm cocoon of lo-fi chill-wave". They've released quite a lot of music since they started in 2018, existing in the indie/shoe-gaze realm of sound. The band have just released a new single 'How Come?' with minimal, DIY collage art work for the cover. 'How Come?' opens with The Smiths-esque, jangly guitars, ornamented with catchy, melodic lead lines. The vocals are reminiscent of Beach Fossils singer Dustin Payseur; softly sung and reverb-drenched, over a sea of guitar - acoustic strums and electric picking.
